Dora Nikols is a leading PR and social purpose specialist and public speaker who founded Social Mission, a purpose-driven PR & Communications agency in Sydney in 2015. In 2007, Dora launched Prickly Pear PR, the first purpose-driven PR agency, earning the title 'the queen of green' for her work with certified organic and sustainable brands over 12 years. As a founding member of Conscious Capitalism Australia, Dora has championed purposeful business practices for over two decades.
With 20 years of PR experience focused on purpose-driven companies, Dora knows what it takes for brands to grow, do good in the community, and leave a lasting legacy. She has collaborated with leading social purpose leaders like Unilever, The Body Shop, Tamburlaine Organic Wines, non-profits, and innovative start-ups aiming to make a meaningful impact.
In 2020, Dora became the first Australian judge for The Drum's global Social Purpose Awards, a role she still holds. Inspired by Anita Roddick, founder of The Body Shop, Dora has spent her career working with and studying brands that do good and do well, uncovering the powerful formula that purpose drives profit.
